Tyler berd fronts the band bellwire and has toured his solo act around the country, performing sad, funny songs on nylon-string guitar. His solo act is sly and surreal, and owes a lot to Neil Young, Jonathan Richman, and the poetry of Charles Simic. He can do a tight 20 minutes or a long-winded 3 hours.
