Woodbae and TreeStar are an indie hip hop duo established in 2017 from Whidbey Island, WA combining original beats with live instrumentation, rap with beautiful harmonies and playful lyricism. Living in a primarily retirement community, they often hear (from the 70+ crowd) "I didn't like rap until tonight. Thank you." Woodbae and TreeStar is music for all ages from 0-125. They most recently performed with the great Abstract Rude, a veteran of 90s hiphop, and have done work with musical artists such as LAKE, Oscar Goldman, Ersatz Splinter, Thats Nokay and many others.
