Refund Policy

How refunds work

All ticket purchases on Washington Live Music are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds are issued at the discretion of the venue that hosted the event. If a venue cancels an event, a full refund is issued automatically. For all other requests, contact the venue directly or reach us at the email below and we will facilitate the process.

Event cancellations

If an event is marked as cancelled by the venue on our platform, all tickets for that event are automatically eligible for a full refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Partial refunds and exchanges

Partial refunds and ticket exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis at the venue's discretion. Washington Live Music does not charge any additional fee to process a refund — the platform fee is refunded alongside the ticket price.

Gift tickets

Tickets that have been gifted and claimed by another person follow the same refund policy. Unclaimed gift tickets can be reclaimed by the original purchaser at any time before the event.
